Weatherford, a multi-national company who are involved in the drilling and production sectors of oil, gas and geothermal projects worldwide, are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated individual to fill the position of :

Management Information Systems Coordinator

To facilitate and to simplify sharing of data and information assets among enterprise applications and information users as being responsible for specification, design, and development of this large-scale database system.

To establish, implement and maintain standard operating procedures for database operations including but not limited to database back-up and recovery, database cloning, database performance monitoring and tuning, establishing new datbase instances, including creation, maintenance, and validation of database objects.

Other tasks as assigned by the Business Systems Manager.

Essential requirements:

• 3-5 years working experienceâ
• Good presentation and communication skillâ
• Good knowledge of web systems developmentâ
• Experience in building one full-cycle of web application
• Good sense in web designing
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Good knowledge of relevant computer hardware and other software (Visio, Visual Basic, HTML, Web, C), Ms Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Access)
• A commitment to department staff through on-going training and other personal advancement techniques
• College or minimum Diploma Degree qualifications
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Ability to work well with others and build rapport in business situations
• Ability to focus on a specific task, a well as manage multiple conflicting tasks
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable to changing environment
• Ability to evaluate situations and to determine appropriate business decisions
• Ability to understand technical and abstract concepts, and bring them into realization in the business
• Able to work under own initiativePreferred credentials & experience:
• 8 years of professional working experience
• Good presentation skill and web development
• Customer service orientation
• Experience with systems development
• Capable of performing data analysis using various techniques
• Strong technical and working experience in designing desktop web applications using ASP, ASP.NET, C, Visual Basic, Java
• Willingness learn new skills
• Ability to work independently or in a group to achieve a common goal
