The University of Oxford’s Centre for Medicine is an integral part of the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine. We are looking for a Senior Clinical Research Program Manager having extensive experience in the overall management of significantly funded and complex health-related projects in the setting of developing nations. This position supports the Southeast Asian Influenza Clinical Research Network (SEAICRN). Knowledge of and experience in clinical trials research across range of diseases would be a considerable advantage, as would direct experience in Indonesia that includes a functional knowledge of the culture and language.
Essential Criteria:
• An experienced health research project manager with extensive international experience. The applicant must have a good knowledge of infectious diseases of public health importance in Southeast Asia.
• Experience of working in or collaborating with colleagues in the wider Asian region, and of developing links with international groups.
• This post requires willingness to reside in Jakarta, Indonesia and to travel frequently.
Desirable Criteria:
• Evidence of strong leadership skills
• Experienced in financial management
• Five or more years experience working in Indonesia
• Understanding of principles of GCP
• A working knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia
• A record of clinical research accomplishments evident by publication in international peer-reviewed biomedical journals.
