Vacant positions in Oil & Gas company

Our Client, is a leading multinational energy company with 95.000 employees and operations in more than 130 countries engages in all aspects of the petroleum industry, including Upstream operations (oil and gas exploration, development and production, LNG) and Downstream operations (refining, marketing and the trading and shipping of crude oil and petroleum products)is currently looking for these two positions:

1. Process Engineer


Job Description:


- Produce conceptual studies of processes (generalists and/or specialists), generally
within the framework of APP studies


- Provide process assistance (generalists and/or specialists) to project teams


- Provide process assistance (generalists and/or specialists) to operations affiliates
and to OPCO�S


- Take part in or ensure process follow-up (generalists and/or specialists) for R&D projects


- To take an active part in improving the know-how of the Process department


Required Technical Skills:


- Physical and chemical properties of oil products


- Chemical engineering, thermodynamics


- Fluid flow


- Oil effluent treatment processes or field of specialty


- Utilities required for operating installations


- Specialist applications: PRO II, OLGA or specialist software


- International standards, payments


- Knowledge of industrial engineering constraints





Personal Requirements:


- At least have a bachelor degree in Chemical or Gas and Petroleum Engineering


- Has at least 3 to 9 years of professional experience


- Has at least 3 to 6 years as a Process Engineer


- Has at least 1 to 2 years as Process Engineer in engineering or project supervising


- Has at least 1 to 2 years working experience as an Operational Process Engineer in affiliates






2. Project Engineer

Job Descriptions:

- Assist the project management team to ensure Compliance with Safety objectives throughout the life of the project

- To provide technical assistance and advice to the project and contract manager in developing and coordinating the required engineering studies

- To prepare dossiers for Company, partners, authorities as required

- To coordinate the reporting on technical matters

- To assist disciple engineers in periods of work overload

- To keep a permanent contract with the contractors on engineering matters

- To be constantly informed of all activities on the project in order to replace his supervisor in case of absence

- To assist the Contract manager in the management of specific contracts or Purchase orders

- Represent project regarding, protecting company�s interests and influencing decisions

- Interface with specialists externally and internally

- Ensure technology transfer to staff supervised Personal Requirements:

- At least has an Engineering Degree

- Typically 5 to 10 years relevant experience post graduation

- A level of expertise in a specific discipline

- Preference given to a previous member of multi-discipline teams or projects

- Required knowledge of one or more of the following, Engineering, Construction, Platform Installation, Hook-up, Safety, Call for tender and contract negotiation, Cost control, Planning, Contractor management, Project team management

- Fluent spoken and written English is a must
