MAN POWER REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ONGOING PROJECTS 2008
1. PROJECT MANAGERS (4 Nos)
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Engineering)
Experience: Minimum 10 years in building construction project management.
Job Description: Ability to plan, schedule and control the field work. Monitor the project schedule to ensure timely completion. Good leadership skills and able to manage a professional team. Deal with people at all levels, develop and maintain excellent Client relationships. Work within the Client�s required budget, specifications and time-frame. Good letter and report writing skills. Manage the project technically, financially and contractually. Working experience in Middle East would be an added advantage.
2. PROJECT ENGINEERS (CIVIL) (8 Nos)
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Minimum 3 years in building construction
Job Description: Ability to plan, schedule and control the field work. Must be Quality conscious and target oriented. Experience in construction projects, review of engineering documents, preparation of construction procedures / method statements etc.; procurement, planning & control, cost estimation & control. Good communication skills, experience in multidiscipline projects including civil, mechanical, pipelines, electrical, instrumentation, telecommunications and loss prevention etc. Co-ordination with Clients, Engineering Consultants, Sub-contractors, Vendors and other departments. Attending progress meetings / preparation of minutes, submission of contractual claims. Ensure timely execution of work as per the quality norms specified by the clients. Preparing schedule of activity as per the construction programme for optimum & cost effective utilization of resources. Working experience in Middle East would be an added advantage.
3. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS (4 Nos)
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Electrical)
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Job Description: Experience in review of engineering documents, preparation of construction procedures / method statements etc; Following project schedules, procurement/ raising request for Quotation, review of vendor proposals & recommendation, Pre commissioning, Good communication skills, experience in multidiscipline projects including civil, mechanical, pipelines, rotating equipments, electrical, instrumentation, telecommunications and loss prevention etc. Attend technical review meetings. Job Description: Monitoring, Auditing and Reporting on the effectiveness of Quality Management System. Enhance and recommend Quality awareness/performance of company by providing solutions. Assure confidence to Customers for Quality Assurance matters and handle corrective / preventive actions of Client/Engineer complaints. Review, prepare and implement Project Quality Plan and ensure an effective quality management system in line with Client and Contract requirement. Supervise and provide necessary technical support to the staff in preparation of Quality plans. Maintain Quality records and statistics in line with ISO requirement. Responsible for the structure and day-to-day operation of the company Quality systems. Review and conduct Quality Training programs. Working experience with ISO 9001-2000 systems.
6. SITE ENGINEERS (SENIOR) CIVIL (6 Nos.)
Education: Diploma
Experience: Minimum 7 years
Job Description: Experience in supervision of civil construction project works in accordance with contract drawings, specifications and standards. Responsible for estimating quantities of materials needed, planning construction activities, coordinating the supply of labour & materials and maintaining safety. Co-ordination with relevant service departments. Provision of solutions to arising problems and difficulties. Review of the As-Built drawings for the Client's approval. Prepare daily reports. Working experience in Middle East will be an added advantage.
7. SITE ASSISTANTS CIVIL (20 Nos.)
Education: ITI / Diploma
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Job Description: Supervision of civil construction project works in accordance with contract drawings, specifications and standards. Co-ordination with relevant service departments. Control workers and get the required outputs. Prepare wages cards and daily reports including man, machine and materials. Basic knowledge of construction materials.
8. STORE ASSISTANTS (10 Nos.)
Education: Degree
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Job Description: Experience in handling stores. Basic knowledge of construction materials and inventory. Working knowledge of inventory software and MS Office would be preferred.
9. ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR (6 Nos.)
Education: Diploma
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Job Description: Experience in supervision of electrical works in building construction project works in accordance with contract drawings, specifications and standards. Responsible for estimating quantities of materials needed, planning construction activities, coordinating the supply of labour & materials and maintaining safety. Co-ordination with relevant service departments. Provision of solutions to arising problems and difficulties. Review of the As-Built drawings for the Client's approval. Prepare daily reports.
