Producer/Journalist, Multimedia, BBC Indonesian Service

BBC Indonesian Service based in Jakarta. The BBC World Service is one of the world's leading multi-media news organisations providing International news and analysis to a global audience. The Indonesian Service broadcasts 2.5 hours of radio every day with listeners on FM, SW and the Internet, from offices in London an Jakarta.

We are looking for an experienced journalist to work in all aspects of radio and Internet production including reporting, interviewing, writing, translating, presenting and producing.

With Indonesians as your first (or equivalent) language and full comprehension of English, you'll demonstrate considerable relevant radio or TV experience and an up-to-date knowledge of both the target audience and international current affairs. As well as sound editorial judgement, excellent presentation skills and the ability to translate from English into Indonesia and vice versa, you'll need good IT, keyboard and Internet skills.
