We're currently looking for young, dynamic, self motivated Banquet
Sales professionals who want to move their careers forward.

As an Events Manager you are responsible for the success of meeting,
catering and event segments of the hotel. You will secure the business,
plan the meeting/event, co-ordinate with hotel operations and clients
before, during and after each meeting/event & your role will include key
responsibilities such as:
* Responsible for selling off-site events and locations
* Handle all meetings and catering enquiries according to standard
procedures
* Act as a one-stop shop for clients for detailed event planning and
working closely with Banquet Operations, F&B Management, Rooms Division
Operation, Finance and external suppliers
* Satisfy the need of the clients whilst optimizing hotel revenue
through strategic yield management and upselling of hotel facilities and
services
* Work closely with the Area Sales MICE Team to achieve monthly sales
target
* Conduct site inspections, client entertainment and familiarization
* Send all correspondence to clients regarding banquet events, such
as proposals, confirmation or agreement letter, amendments etc.

You will have ideally a degree in hospitality with previous experiences
in Catering Sales within a hotel. Excellent written & verbal English
communication skills and strong interpersonal and negotiations skills
are essentials. Computer literate & previous experiences with Fidelio /
Opera are an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be customer driven and an extremely proactive
and focused personality with an outgoing, charismatic and approachable
character. You will work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
and be a great team player, portraying a structured and goal oriented
work philosophy and possessing following additional competencies:

Our client from 5 Stars resort situated on the Island of the Seychelles
Archipelago. 96 suites, 9 Deluxe Villas including a presidential villa
equipped with private swimming pools and offering butler service, 3
restaurants and a championship golf course. They need one new staff to
fill the position as: ASIAN SUSHI CHEF: Qualification & Benefit:
* Position to be filled: Asian Sushi Chef
* Hierarchy: Reports to: Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef
* Age range: 28 - 35 years
* Marital status: Preferably Single.
* Educational qualifications: Secondary education up to "A" Levels or
equivalent.
* Professional qualifications: Higher National Diploma in Culinary
Management from a reputable institution or equivalent.
* Length and type of experience: Candidates should have an excellent
track record in the culinary field with preference to a mix of quality
stand-alone restaurant of 2 and 3 Michelin Stars grade and Luxury five
star resort operations.
* Additional skills: Language: Fluent in English Knowledge of a
second language, preferably French will be an advantage.
* Personal attributes/Personality: Producer of consistently quality
